When you are under a sink, the receptionist takes the name, the number, the job and how urgent it is. Urgent callers are passed to your mobile. Everyone else can be offered the next free slot.

Every receipt sits on a job

Photograph the Screwfix ticket. VAT, merchant and total are read off it. You approve it, and the spend shows against that job.

A fence on the job, not the yard

Drop a pin and a radius on the address. Clock-ins from outside it are flagged, or blocked, job by job. You can see who is on site.

Quote, minus materials, minus hours times the pay rate, including overtime. That is the number most job apps never quite show.

Questions, answered plainly

What is on the trial?: 14 days on the plan you pick. 25 answered calls. If the plan includes Ask Zap, 15 questions. No card.
Do apprentices need a full seat?: No. A field-only seat is for clocking in, the rota and Ask Zap. It is £4.00 a month on top of the plan.
Will it sign off gas work?: No. Ask Zap tells you to isolate, and to stop if you are not Gas Safe or not competent for Part P. It does not issue certificates.
Can it use the diary I already have?: Google Calendar connects with OAuth. iCloud connects with CalDAV and an app-specific password. Without either, bookings stay in the app.
